Agent Stone had always thought he knew who's fault it was for all of his doctor's grievances.
But as he laid alone in his pitch-black hotel room, he pondered if there was a way this all could've been avoided. Maybe to go back in time to stop Robotnik from meeting Gerald? Or prevent him from learning about the Chaos Emerald? Maybe even avoid the Mushroom Planet? Or avoid Greenhills in general?
Or maybe, Stone just had to go back to a time before even Greenhills.
Dr. Ivo Robotnik was dead and it was all Stone's fault.
