Summary
In the small and isolated town of Jericho, Enid moves into a modest apartment after enrolling at Nevermore College to study Journalism. There, she meets Wednesday — a dark Literature student — and the two don’t get along, despite their mutual attraction.
When a circus arrives in Jericho, strange things begin to happen: people start disappearing, fears take form, and ancient secrets resurface, pulling Wednesday and Enid into an ancestral conflict.
As fear spreads, they discover that sometimes the line between good and evil is thinner than it seems.

Summary
Na pequena e isolada cidade de Jericho, Enid se muda para um apartamento modesto após ingressar na faculdade de Nevermore para estudar Jornalismo. Lá, ela conhece Wednesday - estudante de Letras, sombria e fria -, e as duas não se dão bem, apesar da atração mútua. Quando um circo chega à cidade de Jericho, coisas estranhas passam a acontecer: pessoas começam a desaparecer, medos se materializam e segredos antigos ressurgem, fazendo com que Wednesday e Enid sejam arrastadas para um conflito ancestral. Enquanto o medo se espalha, Wednesday e Enid descobrem que, às vezes, a linha entre o bem e o mal é mais tênue do que parece.

Step 7: The Holy Moly!Enid's face lit up in pink hues. Her cheeks were so red to the point she was scared they would blow up any second. “Y-Yoko! What is this?!”
“Just a strategy, you are welcome.” She said calmly.
Or, Wednesday and Enid have been dating for three months without much physical progress, and Yoko decides to help.

“But we are not a couple,” Wednesday flatly replied, remaining unmoved. Enid sighed, then squatted down in front of her friend.
“We can pretend,” she sang with an upswing in her tone. “C’mon, you can’t tell me this wouldn’t be the coolest contest to win and that it’s not practically made for us! ... honestly, it’s not like we’d have to change all that much. Half our friends already think we’re dating anyways–”
“What–”
“And if we just told everyone we were, they would all totes be on board. Trust me they stan.”
“They what?” Wednesday was just as confused with the slang as the topic, but Enid stood up and continued as if she was keeping up.
“This would actually be a perfect way to come out as a couple. I could say that we’ve been keeping it under wraps since we all know how you are,” Wednesday stood up and followed her roommate as she began to wander during the explanation of what was unfurling into some sort of teen romance masterplan. “But since we wouldn’t be able to participate in this contest without everyone finding out,” she abruptly turned around, causing the follower to stop short, “BAM! Here we are, world!” Enid beamed.
Finally an adventure without bad guys or danger… or was it?
