“I told you,” He cut him off. “You can call me JJ if you don’t like my name that much.” JJ said.
“Don’t get your hopes up.” Jason huffed. “How about you actually help if you wanna be so buddy buddy, huh? I’m not interested in wasting my time here.” He said, his growing irritation was growing by the minute. “What the hell have you been doing over there, can you focus here?”
“Oh, I am!” JJ said cheerfully but way his hand curled against the surface of the mirror spoke of a different kind of emotion. “I have to look the part if we want to go play with our new friend.”
“What?” Jason asked confused, about to ask ‘what we’ because like hell he wanted JJ along for this thing, he just wanted the information.
Forced to work with this freak was the last thing he wanted to deal with while he was hunting the latest dirt bag that thought he could sell drugs to kids in HIS territory and unfortunately for Jason, this dirt bag was keeping to the shadows. Also unfortunately for Jason, the one person that knew everyone's business was this clown.

Summary
Jason had never believed in ghosts and had no reason to think that was something that could happen to anyone after death. He always believed that once you died that was it and it was over, dark, nothing. He did at a time think heaven and hell could be an option but that sort of faith got kicked out of him early on with the years of living on the streets.
But guess he was wrong and now he was haunting the apartment his mother died in and being a ghost had even more down sides than he first thought. If he used too much energy to interact with phycial things he'd black out and one big one had him waking up to a renovated apartment and someone was moving in.
Jason wasn't going to have a living roommate so it was time to haunt this house and drive him out, but before he could, Jason found out something about this Tim guy, a secret that needed more investigating. Just who was this Tim? Great, even after he died there was another mystery to solve!

Summary
Rain was common in Gotham, you could always count on a bout of rain in the city. In the summer it was a bit more spread thin but now it came with heavy humid air that clung to the lungs and the skin more than the rain itself. It could make one feel like they were suffocating, another familiar thing in a city like this, it did still drive people inside far more than the regular rain.
The civilians fled inside and even enough of the low lives of Gotham, which meant there wasn’t much need for her heroes to prowl the slippery roof tops to the ends of the nights. Not on nights like this and instead, the youngest of them found himself some place…different.
It was a place Bruce would be disappointed to find him but a place that Jason loved to be and could not wait for the older man that asked him to wait for him to arrive. Tim was the love of his life and this wouldn't be the last time Jason waited for Tim in his bed in such a provocative manner.

The wind up here was strong and the cold felt like it was biting his skin even through his ratty old hoodie he’s had since he was maybe ten. Tim had considered dressing a little nice for tonight but he didn’t think it would matter when things were said and done.
Tonight was his birthday.
Tonight was his thirteenth birthday.
It was the third in a row his parents forgot or just couldn’t be there, ‘something came up, we can do something when we get back’. It’s what they said every time and then forgets all over again when they did come back. They hardly stayed long enough to remember their promise, never stayed longer than to pack up to just leave again.

Jason’s hands uncurled and the tension eased out of his posture, that was the only reason he was going along with this whole thing. He hadn’t had the choice in the first place but that didn’t mean he couldn’t have just disappeared altogether. He was doing this for his mother, he loved his mother. She had been sick for a long time now and was starting to get worse, she needed better treatment that they couldn’t afford and for her, he’d throw away his life.
“Don’t look so depressed, Jason, you’re going to have a better than life than if you stuck around here.” Willis sneered and narrowed his eyes when Jason glared at him. “Just remember, if you mess this up you will be killing your mother. So just this once, don’t fuck it up Jason.” He said before leaving his son alone with his thoughts.

It started when Kon came home one day and found Tim curled up in a ball on their bed crying and after Kon had gotten him to calm down and to talk he found out that Jason had confessed his feelings for Tim and Tim felt terrible about the whole thing.
"I love you, you know that, I would never risk this." Tim told him and Kon did know that and he also knew that Tim and Jason had gotten very close these past years and even further back than that Tim had told Kon once that he had crushed on the second Robin. Those feelings must still be lingering.
Kon knew he couldn't be everything to to Tim, that wasn't practical, so he suggested maybe they could make an arrangement. Tim was shocked to hear it but Kon was always more emotionally competent than him. They just had to find Jason and see if he'd be interesting in sharing, who doesn't love a good poly pile, right?

“Ha ha.” Stray said sarcastically. “Magic’s not really real.” He laughed but Robin didn’t and Stray stared at him. “It’s not….it is? Magic is real? Is Santa real?”
“I don’t about that but magic is totally a thing and it’s annoying as hell.” Robin said and tried to tap in on his comms to contact Batman and see what might be going on. “I can’t reach B…he has to be with the magic user, I think we got ported but the range on these comms are supposed to be epic, where did we end up?” He pondered.
-----------Robin hated magic, he really did. It always left a bad taste in his mouth and flipped his stomach, but dealing with magic came with the gig sometimes. What didn't usually come with the gig was getting blasted to another world with you cat burglar boyfriend to find different versions of themselves that had taken such drastically different paths and were for some reason were older than them.

Tim just wanted to do his job, stop criminals and protect the innocent. Well this was Gotham and nothing ever went the way one would plan or even hope for, so tonight was no different in that aspect.
Honestly, the worst he thought could come from saving a cat was maybe Damian getting yet another pet, which was not Tim's problem, but instead what he got was a magically cat declaring, in actual human language, that Tim was his savior and would have his heart's desire.
What he got was a magical spell (Maybe a curse?) placed on him. On him and Jason.
Gotham just never stopped giving when it came weird and wild experiences, why stop now?

There were no other kids around his age at this gala his father was covering except that Wayne kid but during the few times they had met, Jon got the impression Damian didn’t like him much. Besides, Damian wasn’t anywhere to be found, so Jon had come out here by himself to just enjoy the sights and get away from the older women who kept wanting to pinch his face.
It was pretty out there, it looked so different from Metropolis, the architecture was more art deco and gothic, it was beautiful, too bad Gotham was such a dangerous place. Luckily, it had its own heroes to look after them. Of all the times that Jon had visited he had never gotten a chance to see Batman or any of the other Bats, not even Robin! Which really was a shame, because the latest Robin, while rough around the edges, was Jon’s favorite one.
He’s seen clips and videos of Robin fighting and it was graceful, planned and brutal sometimes but it mesmerized Jon. Besides, Robin was close to his age and from the more clear pictures out there, he was pretty cute. Robin was a hero but he was also kind of a bad boy and well, Jon had a type.

That was all Robin heard before he was suddenly hauled up with gloved hands from his vantage point on the top of the warehouse across the one over that he was watching. He hadn’t even heard Stray approach him, which seemed impossible cause the cat burglar was clearly in some kind of rush and now that Robin was aware of him, making quite a ruckus.
“What the hell are you-“
“Shh! This is gonna be hard enough without your questions and your banter.” The cat hissed, ripping off his cape with fluid ease and forcing Robin into a black leather jacket. Where had that come from? “Well! Zip it up! And put these one, honestly, you are wearing panties.” Stray huffed, throwing a pair of leather pants in the vigilante’s face before scouting around the door that lead down into the warehouse.
Jason was just trying to keep to his mission, case out this warehouse near the docks, see if anything was going on there to confirm the whispers, but no, stupid Stray just had to crash his patrol and make a huge mess of things. He didn't sign up for this, he was Robin Boy Wonder, not cat boy's little helper.

The ruckus of him trying to dislodge the bread from his windpipe startled several of the cats that’s were nearby their table, causing one to sprint off and alarmed other cats causing a bit of chaos in the enclosure.
