Moon had collapsed and was stuck in an irreparable body, and Pebbles was slowly being torn apart from the inside out by the rot of his own making. The one thing that can fix this, he decides, is a hand-crafted Engineering team to re-locate Looks to the Moon to a new body above the clouds.
The three slugpups that make up his engineering teams must learn and grow strong enough to withstand the outside world, until they can survive and traverse on their own to scout for a new location. He knows they can do it, he crafted each himself after all.
