Summary
He wasn't sure what had triggered it this time.
Maybe it was the fact that he'd barely had time to sleep this week, or the exhaustion and ache deep in his bones from jumping between mission to mission with little reprieve. Regardless, Chuuya was barely holding himself together these days. All it took was one single glass, one moment caught off guard, for everything to come unraveling at the seams.
Or
Chuuya is in denial about his classification. All it took was a loud brunette waltzing in to tear down the carefully crafted walls he formed around himself.

Summary
Kenny slowly lifted his head, his eyes so wet and red that the boys froze in stunned silence. They couldn’t recognize him. His voice cracked when he spoke, almost too soft for the others to hear,
“I die.”
Kyle furrowed his brow, confused. “What?”
Kenny’s gaze fell to the floor again, mind scrambling for a way to make them believe him. Understand him.
“I die over and over. And each time, I come back. But now... I don’t know if I can.”
After finally spilling loose the truth that had weighed on him for so long, a bittersweet smile touched Kenny’s lips. He exhaled, finding relief in seeing his breath materialize. Stan and Kyle exchanged glances, their expressions unreadable. Cartman opened his mouth to retort, but for once, even he held his tongue.
The rawness in Kenny’s words made it impossible to say anything.
Some say four is the number of death.
Kenny hates odd numbers.
Hates the three paths his friends want to take, leaving him alone on the bridge meant to connect them. And that one bridge is crumbling in on itself.
He much prefers four, he thinks.
Or, Kenny is running out of lives to live.
