Summary
Lyn never expected her life to end to a crazed woman bashing her skull in, and with a hardcover copy of Bleach, no less. If you must fix something, you must start at the root of the problem. Except they already tried that and the Root was not very receptive to the idea. So... start before the problem even existed??
Except Team Ro didn't plan to come back to the past. They didn't have any concrete idea of what to fix. Most of them don't even think they have the jurisdiction to make such changes.
