Shen Qingqiu wanted to pay attention, needed to keep his guard up, but the ears were so distracting! They looked so soft, just as soft as he remembered Luo Binghe’s hair to be when he used to help put it up before bed.
Without a conscious thought, Shen Qingqiu’s hand lifted on its own to give that fluffy, adorable head a pat.
Oh well! If Shen Qingqiu was going to die, it might as well be while doing what he loved: doting on Luo Binghe!

“Gege, are you perhaps…” he trailed off, seeming to be thinking of how he wanted to phrase what he was going to say next. Xie Lian gripped his hands tighter. “Are you feeling any pain? Right here?” He lifted their joined hands and put them against his own chest, a mirror image of the exact spot where Xie Lian had been aching all morning.
Xie Lian didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
“Just a bit. How did you know?”
Hua Cheng stared down at him, then closed his eyes and let out a breath.
“Because I feel it too.”
Oh no, Xie Lian and Hua Cheng have been hit by a curse that causes them physical pain when they’re not touching! How terrible. I sure hope there’s no intense mutual pining and eventual sappy confession that happens because of this.

His voice was low and smooth, and he sounded so good that Simon knew his mouth was open, but he couldn’t find it in himself to care. The song was something about dying, and there was so much emotion packed into it that Simon felt like crying. When the last note came, the whole auditorium was silent. Baz promptly thanked Miss Possibelf and walked off the stage, sitting down in a row of seats near Simon. Simon never took his eyes off Baz, and he could tell he was staring, but he didn’t care. Baz didn’t even look at him, just pulled out a book and started reading as Miss Possibelf finished her decisions.
Simon and Baz fall in love while working on a musical. Basically I just wanted to combine my love of Carry On with my love of Bare: a Pop Opera together! No prior knowledge of musicals of any kind is needed to read this fic. I hope y'all enjoy!

"In a cultivation world where every other innocuous meadow contained enough sex pollen to give the entire population hay-fever, cultivators had been forced to give up on ideals of total purity. While they still valued chastity, realists resigned themselves to fucking in the field due to mischance at least once. And given these circumstances, said cultivators generally felt that one’s first experience with sex might as well be a good one, and occur in a controlled, safe environment. Cultivators also lived long lives: the choice of spouses to share them with was a serious matter, which couldn’t be rushed simply for the sake of being over-nice about virginity. The individual they chose could decline the honour, but unless one had a strong extenuating excuse, doing so was considered quite rude (and also resulted in a serious loss of face for the youth in question)."
The governor of Jinlan asks Luo Binghe to claim his reward for saving the city. Luo Binghe only wants the things every rising young cultivator is entitled to.

No matter. Lan Wangji crushes it easily, enveloping it in his spiritual energy, and then squeezing. Curse averted, Lan Wangji closes his eyes and goes back to sleep. He thinks no more of it.
Two days later, Wei Wuxian arrives in Cloud Recesses.
