Summary
Basically, I've been really obsessed with radiation and nuclear events lately (please don't think I'm weird).
Of course, this ties into my favorite superhero (Spider-Man!) and a character who I think is very underrated (Bruce Banner!).
I heard that people think that a Man-Spider plot line may be in Brand New Day, and I'm one of few who LOVE that theory (it's one of my favorite comic runs).
I have always loves monsters and transformation as a source of angst and metaphor for irl trauma, so it's kind of my niche.
Anyway, all this to say, I have an idea for an AU where they beat Thanos in Infinity War and the avengers kind of reassemble (with lots of tension and ross-related turmoil). However, Bruce is hesitant to rejoin, and only shows up when Hulk is Really Needed.
One such mission is at a radiation plant, when Spider-Man is subjected to a lot of gamma. He is the only one who can help him, as long as he doesn't Hulk-out. However, when they escape, they realize that it has effected Peter's genes and made his mutation even more extreme.
Cue a long fic with hurt/comfort, info-dumping, and Found Family
Should I write it? Is it too weird?
