Summary
In a mystical world where magic, dragons, witches, and dragon witches exist, soulmates bear words on their skin that they've heard used to describe them until they touch one another. If the soulbound have magic or other abilities of their own, they do not come into their full power until after meeting their soulmate.
Virgil, the son of a navy captain, is expected to be perfect, and to do so, must hide the array of words adorning his skin. The fact that they appear in five different colors is quite distressing, and his father would surely hate him if he knew about them.
Across the ocean, a pirate ship named The Arcane Queen, manned by five already very powerful lovers, is hunting for their last remaining soulbound. They are known as The Legion, feared by humanity and mystical creatures alike as they scour the oceans for any news or trace of their missing piece.
After all, the purple words that appear on their skin are quite concerning.

“Congratulations on getting nine out of ten questions correct! Without further ado, let’s move on to the last question..” Hanazawa paused for dramatic effect as the lights dimmed and the spotlights overhead honed in on their podiums.
“What is … your hero partner’s type?”
A brief silence.
“‘Type?’” Izuku questioned at the same time as Kacchan.
“Yes, type,” the host laughed. “Like, who would they date? What are they into?”
The blood drained from Izuku’s face and he shot a panicked look at Kacchan. The blond didn’t seem to be faring any better, his gaze zeroed in on Hanazawa as if he could will her to change the question to something else.
Izuku... didn't know the answer to that.

In order to increase their popularity rankings as up and coming pro heroes, Izuku and Katsuki participate in the most popular late night talk show for hero duos - ‘Heroes Rising!’. They’re killing it, obviously, because they know each other from inside and out. Until one question stumps the two of them: “What is your hero partner’s type?”

Summary
Roman has been dealt an okay hand in life, considering his origins. But alas, repairing articles of clothing for the ridiculously wealthy is just too monotonous for him. Not to mention, things aren't going too well at home.
In his sorrow, he feels something pulling at his sleeve. A call to adventure, to travel to the dark, gothic castle at the top of a cliff, where the reclusive Earl Sinclaire of London resides. His peers advise him to not go, but oh, his heart says to travel onwards, despite knowing that it will only be detrimental.
