Dick was not having a good day. He wasn’t even having a moderate day, which was almost always impossible, because his moderate day involved a certain wannabe-clown and a man named after inanimate object and an obsession with watching people suffer.
He was supposed to have a good day, however, because he was supposed to meet with Justice League today.

Summary
When the bat first took to the night he was a cryptid.
Something whispered about in hushed tones, his name never spoken aloud during the night for fear of summoning him. Mothers in desperate attempts to control their children would use him as a threat, behave or The Bat will come for you.
Then time passed. Little by little, the gothamites learned, The Bat wouldn’t harm them. He was their protector, fighting against the criminals and rogues of the cursed city. Still not entirely human, sure, no human would be insane to do what he did every night. No human capable of what The Bat was capable of. However, not something for the average person to fear.
That’s when the offerings appeared.
Small trinkets left on windowsills, sometimes with notes, sometimes without. Offerings ranging from the superstitious to the practical. A couple coins, a home baked good, a protein bar. All of them though were offerings to The Bat, to get on his good side, to guide him in his efforts to protect the city.

Or, Tim Drake is a stalker and ends up giving Bruce and Jason a fright before they quickly adopt him!

Summary
With the Joker in the wind after the failed attack at the theater, Jason finds himself in a weird limbo. He's cleaning up the streets of Crime Alley, and stuck in a truce with Batman. HIs relationship with the various bats are strained and uncomfortable. Except with Tim, who keeps sending tracking down the number of his burner phones and bombarding him with annoying messages.
Until one day he doesn't.
Jason doesn't worry at all. (He's a liar)

Summary
Tim Drake finds himself working a 9-5 shift at night, at the local Bat Burger. Living his daily routine watching the bats and birds enter and exit. He always seemed to notice them but never would have imagined what would happen once they started to notice him. If only he knew back then what would unfold, though looking back now, he doesn't regret much.
