"Do you want a drink?” Lucifer aks her. “Your throat must be dry from all the…" he makes an exaggerated wheezing sound, in and out.
Vaggi tries not to look as mortified as she feels.
Lucifer tilts his head and looks at her, earnestly and concerned. He looks like Charlie, two of a kind.
"You want a straw?"
And then there's a purple, heart-shaped straw curling from the glass being offered to her.
Vaggie tries to deal with a late night panic attack on her own. Lucifer might be the last person who should see her in such a state, but he also might be the only one who could understand.

Vaggie has a deep sense of self loathing within her core that she can't seem to shake no matter how much she tries. She's ashamed of who she is—from her features to her own birth-name.
Charlie, whole-heartedly accepts who Vaggie is and loves all her imperfections. Charlie is her saviour and, essentially, her only will to live. Vaggie loves the princess deeply, but she finds herself easily blurring the words "Love" and "lifeline", being overly dependent on and protective of Charlie.
But who will Vaggie be once she loses her anchor and her godsend, Charlie? The very girl who saved her life.
How she will move on knowing she lost her sole purpose?
Can she come to terms with her dark and gruesome past and accept who she is?Vaggie goes down a perpetual downward spiral of heartache and self-hatred, and the only one who can save her this time is herself.
