Lan Zhan’s touch must have been a little cold because Wei Ying’s skin rose in bumps and she huffed and Lan Zhan rested a hand on her hip. Lan Zhan was dry-mouthed, traced a line of the ribbon with her thumb. She asked Wei Ying, voice low: “And how will Wei Ying untie this, by herself?”
