... A život šel dál.
Příběh se rozpínáná z většiny od téměř konce příběhu, až do pár dní po epilogu. Mili zmizel, a poté je považován za mrtvého. V knize je jen takovou vedlejší postavou, která nic moc neříká, je jen součástí rodiny Karla. Ale víme, že má svůj život a přátele, kteří se o jeho zmizení museli dozvědět, nějak ho snášet, nějak žít.
O nich tohle vypráví - příběh následuje hlavně Vojtu Prachaře, s častým výskytem Jana Bettelheima a jistého řeznického učně skrz léta 1939 až do roku 1945.

První kapitola je nápad, který vznikl při povídaní si s bratrem o kapitole Sára v původní Mafii 1, kde jsme mluvili o tom, co kdyby si Tom, po tom co Sára prohlásí "jsi moc hodný zlý muž" řekl že tohle ne, a pak co kdyby zalezl na záchod a volal Paulieho o pomoc. Dala jsem do toho svůj oblíbený Tom/Paulie/Sam ship, psala to jako crackfikci, a výsledek je, jaký je. Další tři kapitoly jsou o tom, jak Tom, Paulie a Sam řeší různé pofidérní mise a uvažují o tom, jestli spolu Salieri a Frank fakt chodí. Je to celé debilní, naprosto záměrně.
Fanfikce se odehrává v originální Mafii 1, ne v Definitive Edition, takže jsou tam značné rozdíly v charakterizaci!
TL;DR: Crack OOC konina o třech teplých mafiánech kolem dalších teplých mafiánů, vřele (ne)doporučuji

I just finished the main story, those two are sweet together, I think I'll read these others someday, too. The story was awesome, I will write an appreciative comment about it, but it's 1:30 a.m. now, so, not the time for me. It probably wouldn't be too good.

Summary
Light and Mikami survived the warehouse meeting. Kira didn’t.
Near contained the two of them and destroyed both notebooks that had been left in the human world, so their memories became fragments, with each conversation or event relating to the Death Note now replaced with gaping holes in their minds.
Why does Mikami know Light’s name? Why is Light recovering from gunshot wounds? But most importantly, why are the two of them here together?
They’ll have to work together and uncover the mystery of their gaps in memory, why Light’s memory loss stretches back so much further than Mikami’s, and how they can get out of there together.
(This fic is written in the first person perspective from Mikami’s point of view)
