Jayce consciously stops listening. An assistant. He’s looking at the place where the girl had been. Taken to a hospital. Why? No pulse, no breath. Don’t need a medical doctorate to diagnose death.
He cannot miss being called dangerous, by Heimerdinger’s secretary. But he’s right, isn’t he?
After a fatality in the explosion in Jayce's apartment, Jayce doesn't defend his dreams of Hextech to the Council. Nobody understands to intervene at his moment of despair.
...at least, not in time to stop Jayce jumping.
