I puked twice after watching volume 2 it was so bad. Michael Wheeler get behind me, I won't let the Duffers hurt you anymore. Anyway. So I have to rewrite it to cope.
Diverges after episode five; Mike is worried and obsessive over Will, Robin is connecting the dots (Mike is not, lol) and Vecna is torturing both of these poor gay boys. But I promise you at the end of this fic they will kiss and live happily ever after.

Summary
Dexter gets to Trinity before he can kill Rita, and he meets her that night in the keys. He knows how close he came to losing her---after all the shit he'd put her through, all the lies, all the times he hadn't been there---and he knows now that he'll tell her everything, that he'll willingly turn himself in, before he ever lets her go. He's going to be better. For her, for the kids.
It all starts with a getaway. Dexter's going to change, he's going to do what he has to for the sake of his family---but first, he's going to spend a long weekend in bed with his wife. And in the shower. And, uh.... on the kitchen table?
His first step towards becoming a better person: learn how to be honest with Rita, even when it's terrifying. He might even learn she can more than handle it.

"Need a light?" MJ looks down at the joint in Will's hands, confused.
"Oh, right now?" Will startles, looking at the door handle.
"Are you always this jumpy? Man, you really need this, huh? C'mere." Will hesitates. MJ sighs, reaching for the joint in Will's lap and feeding it to him.
He sparks the lighter and holds it to the end of the freshly rolled joint. Will watches his eyes on the flame, unsure what to do next. "Breathe in." MJ demands through an airy laugh, waiting for the end of the joint to glow before leaning back in his seat.

“I just feel… really protected with you?” Will admits, nose and face scrunched up adorably, like it’s something embarrassing. But it’s music to Mike’s ears. “Really safe. And I never really felt that way with Lonnie, so it’s not like—” Will huffs, redirects. “I never liked being babied, but I like… being your baby.” Mike gives a small smile of encouragement, scoots closer on the couch, brushes Will’s hair out of his eyes where it’s getting too long. “I guess when I’m—really out of my head, with you taking care of me? I feel so—um, small. And cared for. Like—”
Like a kid with their dad. Jesus fucking Christ.
Maybe Mike’s face does something weird with the way all the blood is rushing to his dick, because Will goes flushed and mortified again and says, “But I know it’s totally weird and you’re just being nice—”
“Will,” Mike says. “It’s really fucking hot.”
Or, Will calls Mike "daddy" when he's deep in subspace, and Mike has made it his personal mission to draw it out of him again.

It's the last night of his trip visiting Will at NYU and Mike finds something curious in a sketchbook. Before he can face what it might mean for him, he has to find out what it meant (or means) for Will.
