“It doesn’t matter! I’m calling tonight! Ok I don’t want to but something has to be done about his behavior!”
“Make him a sidekick!” Dream yelled, running over to the pair and getting between the two.
All eyes turned to Dream, Phil and Technos filled with confusion.
“What?” Phil asked.
“Make him a sidekick. He’ll learn how to be a hero and have constant surveillance so he won’t be able to cause any damage.”
“Dream-“ Phil started, sounding tired and angry.
“He’s a good kid, Phil, he just needs guidance.”
“He hates you.”
“I know, but, that’s why you give me a week. If in a week he won’t corporate then…” Dream drifted off, not wanting to finish, but having to. “Then he’s your son. So you can do what you think is best. Just, just give me a week. Please.”
It seemed he had finally broken Phil down enough.
“Fine.” He said quietly, then louder, “Yeah, fine. You get a week Dream.”
Dream smiled, “thank you Phil. I promise you won’t regret it.”

And that was why he made the call. To protect the people one held close to their heart, that person must be willing to do that which others were not willing to do.
As long as his decision didn’t hurt anyone, he couldn’t bring himself to regret it.

“Great, then you’ll take me back home.”
Tommy was glad to see that Smiley completely buffered at that statement. His hands froze in the air, his masked face whipped towards Tommy, and his jaw hung open in disbelief. “Excuse me?!”
“You are now honored to travel with the great Tommyinnit and bring me back home.”
“Wait, no. That’s not-”
“Seeing as it’s your fault I’m stuck here anyway.”
“No it’s not!”
“But I’m willing to forgive you and allow you to pay back your misdeed by bringing me back home.”
Tommy opened his eyes, pleased to see that Smiley still looked just as confused as before. Good, he liked leaving his foes confused. People should never know what to expect from Tommyinnit.

Tommy got separated from his family while on a supply run. Determined to get back home, he had to enlist the help of a random (and maybe crazy) stranger in order to ensure his survival. Though, there was more to said stranger than met the eye and Tommy was about to learn this world was a whole lot more complicated than he originally thought. -

Dream ran as he pushed past people, not caring if they fell or stumbled. The brown haired man was shouting to the blonde kid who was too frightened to move. Dream broke through the gasping crowd, who for some reason weren’t rushing to help the kid, cowards. Dream leapt in the air before he could think as he wrapped an arm around his waist and an arm shielding his head.
Noise….Yelling..a name?.....Tires…screeching…honks..more yelling….
A voice. Was that… dad? Oh- nevermind, it’s the brunette man. Just Dream being dramatic and thinking he died. The brunette man was saying something… but what?
Dream couldn’t hear him.
“alright-help….concious ....ambulance!”
At that word Dream snapped his eyes open. No way in hell was he going to a hospital! The bills would make him work his whole life to pay the hospital debt.
“No..” A slurred noise. His own.
