Summary
Edward had been roaming that earth for a thousand years. He had been through persecutions, crusades, he watched the rise of magic and the fall of empires, and yet the greatest challenge he faced was reuniting with his family and finding a way back home. After six hundred years of hunting down his student Nicolas Flamel for the stolen half of the philospher's stone, he finds it at Hogwarts in the hands of a wizard he would rather forget. However, instead of returning the stone to him, Dumbledore has other plans for the ancient hero. In a battle against his own past and the unknown future, Edward struggles to find a way to get him and the 50 million other Amestrian souls back home.
IN OTHER WORDS: The Promised day didn't go as planned and Edward found himself in the 992AD wizarding world immortalized by the philosophers stone. After being betrayed by Flamel and tricked by Dumbledore, he gets trapped at Hogwarts in 1992. All he wants to do is go home, but the future works in mysterious ways.

Ed- Ed knows what that means. This figure has just pushed a curse onto- onto Hohenheim’s greatest blessing. His father’s greatest blessing. Male- not the kingdom- has to be a person- not Ed, certainly-

Then they mean-
“You leave my little brother alone!” Ed shrieks, with all the fury of a five-year-old, running at the cloaked figure full-speed only to plow into a stone wall that rose up out of the Hall’s sandstone.
The figure laughs. “Fierce little dragon. What a good protector you are,” they croon. “Not good enough, though.” And the intruder claps, once, and disappears in a flash of malevolent violet light.

Or; Al is a damsel in distress, Ed is a dragon, Mustang is a bit confused as to who he’s supposed to be kissing, and Truth was not invited to the party.

He turns and stalks back out into the street, calvary skirt snapping around his knees as he holsters his pistol and retransmutes his automail blade to slice through the haphazard Ishvalan group trying to brandish muskets at his team.
(Little al-che-mist, something cooes, and he ignores it as arterial spray arcs through the dry air. He has his orders.)"

Summary
Ed was stuck at this table with this toad and he was empathetically not pleased. The pink thing was simpering at him, making pointed comments about his intelligence and breeding. Ed would have strangled the bitch if he hadn’t already given his bodily control over to Truth as soon as he’d sat down.
(Truth had a thing about getting to pick what food they wanted at lunch, something about getting the full experience, and Ed was, for once, glad he’d obliged because Truth’s neutral continence was the only thing keeping his limbs steady.)
“Of course,” she said sweetly, “If I was the teenage professor of a useless branch of washed-out magic, I suppose my qualifications wouldn’t have to be very high either, would they?”
And their fork snapped in half.
“What,” Truth breathed with Ed’s mouth, no accent at all, “did you just call my subject?”
