Summary
When Rocky wakes up after Adrian, he's relieved they're both alive, but immediately knows that something is off with Grace. He's having trouble breathing, sleeping a lot, and spiking fevers. As much as Grace wants to blame it on lung irritation from the ammonia in Rocky's atmosphere, Rocky knows he's downplaying it, and it's not going to work.
However, before he can actually do anything about it, the ship's power goes out. Taumoeba have gotten into the fuel and eaten all the astrophage, leaving them with no choice but to steal from the beetles.
Which are on the outside of the ship.
Which means two EVAs and a lot of lab work for Grace, all while his condition declines from what's quickly turning into a serious health problem. All Rocky can do is make sure he has what he needs and try to take care of him as best he can from afar, hoping they can get to safety before Grace's health is too fragile to recover.Bookmarked by ApocalypticDemon

Jack huffs, not in humour, but something of instinct, loud enough that Robby releases his grip from the edge and turns back to glare at him.
“Is that right?” Jack asks, eyes flicking across Robby’s face. His cheeks are flushed with rage, and his nostrils are flaring uncontrollably through each aggressive breath.
Or: Robby is an unstoppable force. Jack is an immovable object.

Sometimes you just couldn’t carry it alone. Sometimes you needed someone to stand by you, to fill the air with words until the world righted itself, to walk beside you back onto solid ground.
Sometimes, unfortunately, it was that person’s day off, and you had to drag yourself off the roof.
Jack kept drifting.
He wanted it all to stop.
He craved silence.
Stillness.
Darkness.
The world was too damn bright.

Jack has a rough night and goes to find Robby. Robby tries to keep Jack grounded, however he can.
