Lan Qiren is marking history essays when he hears a knock on the door. He finds that out that the person knocking is Wei Wuxian, who is absolutely terrified, much unlike the young omega Lan Qiren has the displeasure of teaching at school.

His cheeks felt warm and his chest felt sore even though he was wearing his deep cut robes that always lead to a dark look in Lan Zhan's eyes.
“Hurts?” His husband echoed, worry apparent. Wei Wuxian heard every question he didn't verbalise.
