Summary
Ruby Rose fought in the War of the White Witch. For years she gave herself to the war, commanding herself and her soldiers to a level of battle never seen before, to their deaths, to boiling battlefields and air thick with blood and smoke. In the end, she struck Salem down herself but there was no victory in her end.
So, when given the chance to go back in time — a one way trip thirty years in the past — she took it and once more slayed Salem where she stood.
It did not matter that she was left alone, the only veteran to remember a war that never existed. She would finish her duty as a huntress until her dying day and that was all she needed.
Then she met First Lieutenant James Ironwood in a shoddy Mantle bar.
Recovery and love is an imperfect process. Two steps back are always taken for every one step forward. And yet, through many discussions, quiet moments, raging battles, and shared wounds, they might find a little something extra to live for in each other.

Summary
Winter has no idea where to go. There’s not much that she can do here, there’s nowhere that she can stay. She doubts that anyone here is even awake, let alone someone that she knows.
Though, as Winter passes by the tower housing the dorms, she realizes there’s one person that she knows on campus. As the school’s headmaster, General Ironwood has his quarters on the dorms’ top floor. She doesn’t know how late he stays up, but she’s too distressed now to think about if it’s a good idea to seek him out this late. All she can think about is that the general has been kind to her, and he’s someone she knows. If she’s here, she might as well try to see him.

Summary
The age old advice of not messing with canon to ensure the usefulness of ones knowledge is decidedly more difficult when it forces you to be cruel. Dumped in a new world, I had hoped to avoid canon events. That plan was shot to hell when I found a black haired child in a ruin. My life just got even more complicated than it already was, didn't it?

Summary
Salem's forces have arrived, and James Ironwood returns to his office to face the fight in front of him. He's low on allies, even shorter on time, minus the use of one arm and without the Maiden, the Lamp or the Staff, but he still has a battle to win and a city to defend. And desperation can push a man to great, or terrible, things...
(Missing scenes and a rewrite of other scenes, putting a mostly-sympathetic spotlight on Ironwood, his state of mind, his injuries, and the mess he makes in the aftermath of Vol7 and the beginning of Vol8.)Series
