Summary
Dean Winchester and Castiel Novak are in a band together, one they built from the ground up. Right before a show, Dean's sorta girlfriend and band coordinator is late, and he's left to his own devices. Castiel offers to do his makeup. Something that is simple enough to do turns into a trip through childhood nostalgia and the realization that he's incredibly in love and incredibly attracted to his best friend. Cas takes the news well.

Summary
Castiel Edlund-Rosen had a crush -- a crush that affected him enough to write a song about it and name his band after it. His band, Mixtape for My Teenage Crush, was a rising sensation in the NYC area. When they found themselves without a co-vocalist/guitarist, Dean Winchester, a fan and fellow student with natural talent and a horrible home life, auditioned. That audition changed the course of both Dean's and Castiel's lives.

Summary

Castiel can hardly believe his luck, when he and Gabriel are invited backstage after the show. Once Gabriel slips away with Sam, Castiel is left alone with the incredibly handsome Alpha who spent the entire show singing every single song to him. But the club is raided before they can cement their bond, and Castiel is forced to flee into the night.
Whisked away by an overprotective mother, Castiel doesn’t know if he will ever see Dean again. He seeks solace in writing his poems, and fervently wishes that one day he will be reunited with the man he loves, not knowing that destiny and fate are working to bring the separated mates back together.
