Summary
Nothing in his life has ever been his own. His name glorifies his worst enemy in a vain effort to appease her wrath. His strength is due to his divine father, not his own blood and sweat. His life belongs to the gods, even now that he has a place among them, in theory.
Cleaning out Ephyra of monsters is just another job based on divine caprices to Heracles. Until he meets the champion of Olympus that he's told to expect: an inexperienced yet proud warrior, a witch, and, most of all, one of the gods herself. All things that he's learned to despise.
