: A deserved rebuke or penaltyI hate the Diaz parents so much. I want them (especially Helena) to hurt! I I want them to get their due. I believe neither the Buckley nor Diaz parents deserve any sort of redemption arc. And if they are given one, it should be after a LOT of genuine groveling.
I want to luxuriate in paragraph after paragraph of their pain. I need whole chapters…or even better an entire story…where they drown in isolation, discomfort, and the repercussions of their abuse and treatment of Eddie and Chris.
This is that. Enjoy their Comeuppance.

Evan Buckley had heard stories about the famous firefighter auction that is held by the fire department for charity. He was looking forward to taking part in it and had daydreamed about what alpha would win him and take him out for a date. However, the last person he expected was fire captain Eddie Diaz from the 136 to be the one to place the most money on him and win the omega.
