    Jack knew he shouldn’t have done it. “Whatever they tell you, don’t let them provoke you into a fight,” the Doctor had said. Why couldn’t Jack just listen and obey? His arm hurt. His head too. And his chest. How pathetic was he? The Time Lord would leave him as soon as possible, and Jack couldn’t blame him. He deserved it.
    “Don’t worry, lad.” The Doctor’s voice was unusually soft. “We’ll be there soon.”

    Written with the prompt, “Character A got into a fight, even though Character B told them not to do it, but Character B still takes care of Character A afterwards.”

    “Surprised the Doctor hasn’t shown you the door,” Mickey grumbles.

    Jack’s heart halts in his chest. Mickey must have x-ray vision. He observes it.

    “What?”

    But Jack can’t say it. Nothing is revealed until Mickey deduces it for himself.

    “Oh my God. He’s shown you the door.”

     

    An AU where instead of flying away from Satellite 5 straight away, Jack and The Doctor have a toxic talk on the Tardis. The Doctor makes it clear to Jack right there and then that he's possibly immortal and that he isn't welcome.

    If only Jack's love wasn't secret.

    "Clark. What the hell is this," Lois asks, staring at Clark's Bruceman WIP folder. Clark's first instinct is to fly away, but that would still leave his fic on display for her to see. His second instinct is to blast a hole straight through his laptop screen with his heat vision, which isn't much better.


    Clark, in an attempt to make some spare cash, unintentionally stumbles into the world of superhero fanfiction, becomes a prolific writer for Gotham's OTP, and tries his best to fend off rival fans who want him to convert to superbat instead.
