But as the girls excitedly prepared for the new addition and Qifrey was becoming more concerned with each passing day, Olruggio couldn’t lie and say he hated it. In fact, he was content here, and happy to bring another life into this small, countryside atelier. If only he could figure out why Qifrey was growing more distant.
(In which Olruggio finds himself pregnant. With the help of Qifrey and the girls, they prepare for the new addition even with the ever looming threat of the brimmed caps and whatever was causing Qifrey pain.)

Olruggio never made a big deal about the money his specialized commissions got him. They got what they needed, and some extra at that. To the others, however, it is quite a revelation.

So he owned a flower shop, and it let him consider himself lucky, because everytime he went downstairs and tied on his apron, he could say to anyone who asked “Yes, I am having a good day”.
Olruggio didn’t like motorcycles.
That was an overstatement.
Olruggio didn’t like danger, or loud noises, or things that drove away customers. It just so happened his shop had to be parallel to all those things combined parked outside day in and day out.***
Or; Olruggio's next door neighbor, a tattoo parlor, is a business killer and Olruggio wants to do something about it. To, in someone's opinion, his success.

Or: When Corbeau was at the brink of exhaustion after pulling several all-nighters in a short period, Philippe unexpectedly came to the rescue not just by offering his boss' preferred medicine in hand, but his heart, too.

Sanemi splutters. He glances to one side, and sure enough, Tengen is standing there, watching the exchange. The Sound Hashira’s cat-like eyes narrow in interest, and there’s a coy, shit-eating smirk on his face. Sanemi scowls and turns back to Kyojuro.
“Okay, let’s get one thing straight, asshole,” he grits out. “You may be a Hashira now, but you and I will never be equals! Got it?!”

It’s a breezy Sunday with darkening clouds cloaking the horizon when it starts with one, simple, request.
“I want you to deliver this to the Mist Hashira.” Gyomei requests, stepping into the space that Genya now calls his room. Ruffled bedding, pressed flowers, and a shelf in the corner where the sun lingered the most dedicated to his bonsai trees.
“A parcel?” Genya asks, blinking at the small box in the hands of his mentor. He held it gingerly in spite of the bone-crushing strength burrowed beneath his fingers. “And why me? Isn’t there supposed to be a Hashira meeting next Friday? You could give it to him then.”
Gyomei contemplates his mentee's words, thin lips flattened as he still held the parcel steadily in his palms. The silence stretches for a moment or two long, and Genya fears he may have been too disobedient in the face of curiosity.
“The Mist Hashira is.. sick.”

Or, when Genya is tasked to deliver a parcel to Muichirou, he instead finds himself thrown into an array of mourning and healing, all while learning about his feelings for the Mist Hashira, Tokitou Muichirou.
