Summary
“This is all I want,” Vincent swears, sounding frantic. His fingers dig into Alastor’s cheeks, his temples, holding him steady. “Allow me this.”
Alastor stills, and realizes Vincent is holding onto him so tightly he couldn’t respond even if he wanted to.
Vincent lowers his head solemnly, making a vow, “I will give you everything."
God, he’s beautiful.
"I will do anything. Raze cities, burn it all— anything. Do you understand? Just allow me this.”
His devotion truly knows no bounds. The man took a blade to his own skin for Alastor, likely without a single thread of doubt. He’d killed for Alastor, and swore he’d do it again. And Alastor believed him.

Summary
The silence stretched between them then, thick and awkward. Not because they had nothing to say; because they had too much. Too many questions neither wanted to voice first. Too many unspoken rules from Hell suddenly meaningless here.
Vox finally stood, joints cracking in protest. Annoying. Stupid human body. “Look. All I know is we woke up like this. On Earth. Together. With all our memories and none of our powers. So, congratulations, deer boy, you’re stuck with me.”
Alastor pinched the bridge of his nose, inhaling sharply through his teeth. “Let me get this straight. I have been forcibly deposited into a mortal vessel, next to you, with no warning, no explanation, and no immediate means of escape?”
“That’s the gist,” Vox said.
Alastor stared at him.
Then laughed.
Or Alastor and Vox find themselves trapped in Purgatory with human bodies.

Bookmarker's Notes
Vox and Al are in purgatory and learn to love each other.
Last chapter is MY FAVOURITE by far. What a good ending and such interesting fanfic. It was a blast reading this and will remember it for times to come. Loved all the dialogues about how fearful can be to be vulnerable to another, but trying anyways can be so beautiful.

Summary
“You’re infuriating.” He spit, aiming to wound, but Vincent’s hand shot out, grabbing Alastor’s wrist, wrenching the cigarette from his hand and forcing his arm still.
With the other hand he gripped Alastor’s jaw in singularly rough motion, pulling him forward and exhaling a tendril of smoke directly into his mouth.
Their lips didn’t touch, but it was charged with the same unholy possessiveness that Alastor had come to know, despise, and burn for despite himself.
Or: Vincent and Alastor form a reluctant, twisted partnership (courtesy of some light blackmailing) and stumble into learning just how beautifully they can break each other apart.

Summary
Someone was watching him. Not with the casual glance of a passerby, but with the steady, unblinking fixation of a hunter. Or a lunatic.
Alastor is perfectly content spending his evening in Nevada emptying the pockets of pretentious network executives. He is less prepared for the stuttering, mismatched-eyed production assistant from Chicago who cornered him at the bar with a silver tongue and a terrifying amount of reverence.
But when a stroll down dark alleyways reveal that the bumbling fanboy is a creature of easy, calculating violence, Alastor finds his iron-clad control melting into a dangerous, unprecedented distraction. After all, it's not every day a radio presenter finds someone who listens to the subtext of his broadcasts quite so... thoroughly.
