Summary
Six weeks after Dean died bearing the Mark of Cain and came back to life as a Knight of Hell, Sam continues his relentless search for his brother in hopes of making Dean human again.
In the meantime, however, a curious case catches Sam's attention, forcing him to interrupt his hunt for his own brother in the name of something big looming on the horizon: whispers about demons chasing down a woman and being mysteriously killed, their “vessels” spared and saved without explanation.
Not being something Sam could ignore, he set out in search of answers—and the stranger—hoping that she might somehow help him bring Dean back—as well as his humanity.

Summary
It’s been years since Greed stumbled upon Rhiannon in North City. At this point, they’ve been through quite a lot together, including some situations where they weren’t sure how they got out unscathed.
Finally, their luck runs out, leaving Greed in an impossible decision as Rhiannon’s life dwindles before his eyes. Using a technique taught to him by an alkahestrist, he reverses the flow of his Philosopher’s Stone into her to save her life. But, having not mastered the technique, he accidentally gives her half of his stone, turning her into a homunculus herself.
To Greed’s surprise (and hurt), Rhiannon is horrified by her transformation. As their lives further intertwine, resentment between them grows: Greed for Rhiannon’s upset at her newfound immortality, and Rhiannon for Greed turning her into a homunculus without her consent. In spite of this, their feelings for each other are stronger than ever, leading to explosive fights and passionate nights. They have everything they could want, living in luxury as each other’s primary partner.
With nothing but time to kill, it is only inevitable that conflict will come to a head. Just like Greed, Rhiannon comes to find herself faced with an impossible decision.
