James Potter is a depressed university kid who majors in business, and hates it — he can’t do math for shit. He’s wanted to be an author his whole life — to share his creative imagination with the world, but has never had inspiration because his life is so fucking repetitive.
One day he falls asleep on the train home, and when he wakes up, it’s night time and the carriages are locked. Enter Regulus Black, the mysterious stranger with a sketchbook and ONLY other person on the train — who dresses out-datedly, wears a watch stuck on a date from 10 years ago, and knows something James doesn’t. (And who is also kind of attractive.)

Murtagh's promise to Nasuada is not in The Ancient Language. It isn't even a proper oath. But it binds him as firmly as any oath he's ever sworn. A brutalised rider of a brutalised dragon, in a brutalised nation, all of them trying to work out how to exist in a world after Galbatorix. Why does this promise so bind Murtagh?
