Summary
Half siblings Aether and Terra awaken aboard a mind flayer nautiloid, with little else than eachother and their gaping, bleeding memory. In the face of illithids, odd companionship, and their own past, only two things ever truly corrupt; the desire for complete autonomy, and the pursuit of the greater good. Parasitic tadpoles, chance, and circumstance finally place those decisions within reach, as they and their newfound companions are offered the opportunity to break the binds that hold each of them. What starts as reluctant teamwork and strange solace slowly forces each of them to question their beliefs and change the trajectory of their lives. The future is unclear, their minds shared, and the world bound to be reshapen. Only love can bring a person so far, love, and the will to live. Fate has cast her dice; the eyes yet undecided, as Faerûn holds its bated breath.
A story of coming into power, taking responsibility for the cards life deals you, found family, and the fine line between heroes and tyrants. Mainly a re-telling of in game events, with minor tweaks and adjustments. Inspired by a multiplayer playthrough, with one player playing as The Dark Urge.

Summary
