Are those rabbit ears? Lighter almost chuckles when one of the hoodie's ears flops over into the kid's face.
“Hey there, kiddo.”
“Daddy, look! A Starlight Knight!”
“Eous, sweetie. Please don't bother the neighbor.”
Lighter looks up from the kid– Eous– and finds himself swimming in deep green eyes, just a bit darker than the kid's, and flecked with amber.
Or, Lighter gets a new neighbor and it's practically love at first sight.

Summary
Lighter is so indulgent, Wise began considering the possibility of the man being into him. Even if it seemed like such a funny idea at first, considering how Lighter didn’t have a dearth of dating options, it was difficult not to look too deeply when Wise was often on the receiving end of such sweetness.
But those thoughts had only been intended to be a silly bit of entertainment for himself. Nothing to take seriously, and certainly nothing to presume as true in any way whatsoever.
Then Lighter starts doing things.
Lighter is doing his very best to court Wise. Wise is very gradually figuring this out.

Summary
Wise begrudgingly unburies his face from his palms, putting on his best customer service mask, “welcome to Rand– oh.”
The mask immediately drops as he sees who has just entered the store.
Lighter.
“Hey, Manager,” he greets with a small wave as he approaches the counter. “How're you doin’ today?”
“I'm fine,” Wise lies. He hopes he's at least a bit convincing, but the way Lighter's smirk downturns tells him he isn't successful in the slightest.
“Oh, so your eyes aren't bothering you, then? That's good to hear, though I guess that means I came all this way for nothing.”
Or, Lighter has a few remedies he shares with Wise for his growing pain.
Takes place after 2.7 Champions Never Fall to the Past, so slight story spoilers.
