Summary
After a month-long dip in the river of Pain, Nyx has finally dragged herself out. But instead of being cleansed, or purified, she’s furious, and out for revenge. Revenge on those responsible for her pain… Nico Di Angelo and Percy Jackson. The two demigods must suffer through her wrath, while at the same time embarking on a quest to save their lives. (Annabeth Chase and Will Solace come along for the ride!) Follow their journey as they battle monsters, relieve past trauma, and defy their fate.

Summary
Everyone knows the story of Hades and Persephone in the way demigods tend to know stories, which is to say personally, and with the uneasy awareness that any missing detail might one day crawl out of a prophecy and try to kill them.
The version Will Solace finds in one of Chiron’s books at two in the morning is not the one with flowers, pomegranate seeds, and poets making kidnapping sound wistful. It’s the one where Demeter did not stop at starving the world, punishing mortals, and making Olympus briefly pretend it understood consequences. Hades had taken her child, so she made a punishment out of his.
Every child of the Underworld, the text says, shall suffer when the earth wakes.

Summary
Seven-year-old Percy knows what’s going to happen in the future, and he dreams about the heroes of the past. He doesn’t know why. He has nothing to do with the Greek world, he’s just trying to survive Gabe.
Apollo, God of Prophecy, can’t find his new baby prophet. When he finally locates him, he’s not what he expects. He’s possibly the weirdest prophet he’s ever met.
Nineteen-year-old Lee Fletcher, unofficial camp leader and adopted big brother to a whole camp full of demigods, has no idea what his dad, Apollo, is about to dump on his lap.
Dionysus is both horrified he’s been dragged into this, and full of gleeful anticipation for the coming chaos.
Triton is still grieving his daughter. Four thousand years later, he has no interest in this new demigod brother, but perhaps she would want her father to help him?
Poseidon and Hades are revelling in the chance to be absolute drama queens.
