Sally continues to watch how gentle he is with her hair and how easily he puts her hair together. She reaches up to her own hair and she can feel the knots and dirt in it. She feels sad at this and disappears from the living room in a puff.

Jon, frustrated with Elias and traumatized from his time with the Circus of the Other, makes a statement about his kidnapping and the aftermath in an effort to get his mind off of it, with little success. Martin accidentally overhears part of it, and is absolutely horrified. Comfort ensues.
aka 'non-consensual lotioning trauma' is functionally sexual trauma with a twist, so now i'm projecting.
