Summary
Contained herein you will find a series of very short stories presented as if Caduceus was telling them to The Nein about his family, maybe at night around a campfire or while on watch with one or two of them. I had too many fun little world building ideas that wouldn't all fit together under one plot, so instead they've became this collection. Think about it as something Caduceus does to pass down the memory of his family and continue practicing an old family tradition of oral forms of cultural knowledge. And just because he's proud of his family and wants to talk about them sometimes.

Rilla, Arum, and Damien weren't exactly expecting a tiny surprise to come along and throw their relationship right into its next phase of development. Now that the opportunity is here, though, they are determined to make the best of it. But in the face of Rilla's physiological investigations, Damien's never-ending nerves, and Arum's very vague understanding of what a baby actually is, the only certain thing is that this is going to be a pregnancy like no other.

A tiny bit of a reverse Beauty & the Beast. The beautiful scholar prince of a conquered country is given in marriage to the monstrous warrior queen of their conquerors, in an effort to keep his family and his kingdom safe. It's possible that his new wife didn't expect him to be quite as pragmatic about it as he is, though. To be fair, his family didn't either.
