Summary
When the Rogues are back in the States after being pardoned, the New Avengers want nothing to do with them and as far as Tony is concerned, if he never speaks to them again, it'll be too soon. After all, he didn't spend the last year putting himself (and his family) back together only for his former co-workers to ruin all of his hard work.
But then he gets a hand-written letter from the Winter Soldier himself, apologizing for the events that transpired and an off-handed comment from Rhodey about Rogers failing to take care of an obviously miserable Bucky Barnes sets in motion Tony's new, oh-so-evil plan to get some payback.
After all, what better revenge than to steal the Winter Soldier away from his best friend?
The only problem: Tony sucks at being vengeful, but apparently he's an expert at inadvertently falling in love.

Summary

When he stumbles upon a diner with a kind waitress inside, he learns about a horse ranch known for taking on young runaways as ranch hands. Out of options, he tries his luck with it, and it's there he meets Neil, a bright, joyful boy with his own secrets.
Todd resists his feelings, afraid of history repeating itself, but over the course of one fall it becomes clear that Neil might be different, and Todd's future isn't so bleak after all.

It wasn’t difficult to spot the teacher. The room was nearly empty by then, but he was sitting cross-legged on the stage, sorting through some papers and occasionally checking his laptop, which was covered with so many stickers that Todd couldn’t even see the computer itself.
And damn it, Charlie was right. He was cute.

Wei Wuxian gets caught sneaking into Cloud Recesses.
But since he can't tell the truth - that he's just here to deliver his teacher's most recent love letter to her soulmate who's stuck in a cave - he tells a lie instead. He says that he's a Jiang disciple that had arrived late and so had snuck in through the gates. He hadn't expected the lie to work, sure that it would unravel as soon as they found a Jiang to verify it, but instead Jiang Yanli backs up his story, and even adds to it.
Which is how he ends up masquerading as the first disciple of Lotus Pier while trying to figure out how to get out of Cloud Recesses without anyone discovering that he's the disciple of Baoshan Sanren.
