    “Who’s alive?” Tsukauchi asks, now thoroughly concerned. The boy raises his head and holds direct eye contact. Tsukauchi’s stomach twists at the sight of blood dripping down the entire right side of the boy’s face.

    As Shouta approached his 35th birthday as an unmated alpha, he received a letter in the mail that he would be forced to take a mate. He would have to visit a local Omega House and take home a stranger. Shouta knew these places were horrible, though. Any omega he takes home will have a long road to recovery. So, he summons his courage as a hero and decides to rescue an omega. A new roommate would be fine, right?

    He is in the hero course, All Might doesn‘t want his quirk back (yet) and his classmates for better or worse don't hate him.

    (He doesn‘t think about how often he had a brush with death, was held at gunpoint — and how he has to live paycheck from paycheck and sometimes has to skip a meal in order to be able to drive home. How there are new white streaks in his hair and he feels like he can trust nobody — not even himself.)

    Izuku should have known.

    There was no way things could go so great for him.
