Paige is there, curled up under her blanket, skin shining. Her eyes are shut. They flutter a little like she’s fighting them to keep them from opening. Her mouth is parted, jaw slack where her head rests against her pillow. Her hair is a mess of blonde strands that wisp around her face and what few inches of neck Azzi can see before her covers block her vision. She’s sick. Azzi can sense it before Paige can even move.
paige and azzi are usually very good at communication, and this fact is what worries azzi when she shows up to practice without any sign of paige. she goes to her apartment after and her girlfriend has caught the flu. she takes care of her.
