When Gabe's cousin comes to live with him while starting grad school at Sam's university, Dean thinks for sure that all his negative karma's coming to bite him in the ass because Cas clearly has a thing for Sam. No one would ever choose him over Sam. That's just logic.

Still, with Dean regressed and only just managing not to bolt, he has to keep his cool.
He licks his lips, "He did this to you?"
Dean ducks his head, his focus on Snaggles now instead of Sam. "I was bad."

Alex has never liked reading books. Or anything in particular, to be fair. But when he finds an old box from her mom that contained a huge novel he feels the necessity to read it, to understand why it has so many pages with annotations, why it feels so loved.
It's only for this reason why he decides to reach Sebastian, the huge nerd he never speaks to. It has nothing to do with the fact that he's been staring secretly at him since they had reached puberty. He especially needs his help because... just because.
