Summary
The Justice League trusts Batman. The Justice League has never been loyal to Batman. It's always been an issue, but after an encounter with the Joker that resulted in a near fatal one-on-one battle with Superman, it's now a bigger problem than ever. A few discovered contingency plans, one pissed off group of superheroes, and one Batman refusing to apologize later, and things between the League's Founding Members are finally hitting their breaking point. Bruce wayne was never tethered to life by happiness.
He was tethered by usefulness.
By the quiet certainty that somewhere, someone required him to exist tomorrow. That his presence filled a gap that could not yet be closed. That if he stopped moving, stopped breathing, something vital would fail. someone would fall.
so when he knows his kids dont need him anymore, bruce wayne decides to leave, for he does not have a purpose anymore.
