It’s split in two, like his life now: one part Juno’s own face, dark and haughty, jaw set and split lip. And next to him Ben, his mirror image – crying and shouting and held in place by Sasha.
    Seeing that Juno falters, hands trembling in sudden absence, sorrow in his heart a physical pain and he almost looks back. Almost. He fixes his gaze on the podium and doesn’t let himself look back. He had heard enough stories to make that mistake.
