“How long have I been here?” Will asked, but immediately waved off her answer, realizing it didn’t matter either way. “Look, my name is Will Graham – I don’t know what happened but you have to give my partner a call.”
“I’ll get the doctor,” she told him, her voice trained to the mellow murmur just about all medical professionals used on omegas.
Will opened his mouth to tell her that there was no need, that he felt fine, and if she would just listen, he could discharge himself and be out of her hair in thirty minutes flat. He grabbed the safety rails and forced himself to stand, though the motion made him a little dizzy. Something on his peripheral vision grabbed at him. The whiteboard strip above the hospital bed – W GRAHAM-LECTER, omega, male, B positive – struck him like a physical blow.

A single Romulan from Nero's crew survives, who is pulled through the forming singularity to approximately 13 years into the past. Aware that he could lose everything if he were to wait for his revenge, Nero decides to even the odds by kidnapping a young Spock and Kirk and deliberately sets about to change the time line. Meanwhile, scientists monitoring the anomaly that the artificial singularity left behind receive confirmation that a member of Nero's crew is alive and in the past. Uncertain of the impact upon their own time line or indeed upon the Federation of the (new) alternate time line, Starfleet Command issues orders for the Enterprise crew who are in their second year of serving together to investigate the matter by going through the anomaly. Pre-slash K/S, slash ending. Implied slash for young K/S. -

Incredible time travel fic with a lot of awesome period relevant details. Good characterisation with sensitivity paid to psychological trauma and other aspects of fleshing out a person. I love misunderstandings there’s plenty of that in here. I love that it’s not just plot linear but that things get diverted and there’s tangents - cos that’s life

Summary
Hannibal is living the dream life. (The dream life is a life with Will Graham.) But Will has been quiet and withdrawn, still drowning a little in the frigid Atlantic, and Hannibal is bent on figuring out a way to draw him out of his shell, whether that be by an exercise regimen, cooking lessons, some books, or a dash of murder. He's flexible.
And anyway, watching Will do any of those things is something Hannibal would actually pay to do.

Will's managed to keep Hannibal from killing for the two years they've been on the run, but Hannibal isn't the one who's been struggling against his restraints. Will doesn't know how much longer he can keep his own monster in check - or if he even cares to keep trying.

Summary
They survived the fall and they're on the run, but Will has a hell of a lot to think about. He had told Hannibal once that he merely tolerated where Hannibal delighted, but that had not been precisely true... but if Will can’t make himself stop feeling it, then maybe he can use it. Maybe he can even find a way to let himself enjoy it.
