Series Notes:
This is a slow burn All Might/Reader|OC|Self-Insert series conceived and written by Dylawa. Beginning at the end of 2018, there were initially no plans for an extended alternate canon where All Might was in love, but response for "Keep Playing" was well above what was expected, and so more extensive planning (and less well-planned spewing out of disorganized prequel chapters, which would eventually become "if i could be half of what you think of me") began in January of 2019.
The estimated lifetime of the series is four to five years as of 8/20/2020, being almost two years old at this point (six to seven years total), in order to explore a well-developed alternate canon with fully fleshed out original characters, scenarios, and a well-paced lifetime of romance.
As of September of 2022, five major installments are planned, with three currently finished. One shots are added periodically as deemed necessary (or wanted), ultimately extending the predicted life of the series (alongside bouts of writer's block/break periods).

Summary
A four part series, beginning with Never Meet Your Heroes, exploring events following season 1 with a focus on the minor characters- specifically, Black Pete, Lucius, Oluwande, Jim, Frenchie, and Izzy.
Blackbeard has done a lot of wrong in the months since Stede Bonnet's abrupt departure from Barbados- the most heinous wrong, of course, being the murder of Lucius Spriggs. When Stede Bonnet returns and reconciles with the man he loves, what happens to those Blackbeard has hurt the most?
Basically a bunch of character studies surrounding the effects of Ed's actions, trauma, healing, and finding peace and family in unexpected places.

Leaving Robby had felt like the only choice he could live with, on both occasions. It had been easier, at the time, to believe that distance was a form of protection...Therapy had a way of dismantling ideas like that. The more Jack talked about it, the more obvious it became that leaving hadn’t protected either of them from anything. It had only meant they spent years miserable in different places...
Still, the last two years had forced him to build something resembling a life again. Slowly, the routines of recovery gave way to something steadier. The anger that once filled his days dulled into something more manageable. Eventually, that quiet, empty apartment started to feel less like a refuge and more like a cage, and once that happened, the next step became obvious.
He needed to work again.
OR: Two years after leaving Robby for the second time, Jack feels ready to work again, landing a job at PTMC. When he discovers Robby also works there, they have to figure out how to exist together again, and whether the twelve years between them broke something permanent or just left something unfinished.
