with this trilogy over i could only bask in the rays of uncertainty of what was to come next for i believed this to be the finale in at least one of many possible ways
"we'll see i suppose" i thought and we did seemy trilingual madness is finally over for an uncertain while. would be fitting to move places now or experience some other good shock but all that will as usual have to wait alas

As my life keeps floating above hell yet below paradise all the same, another magnum opus to continue and foretell Kokoro arrives:
Over 500 pages long, it's a proper novel and my absolute streak. Written in the span of the last two months, having been started just a few days after I finished Kokoro, I finally finished it yesterday and more or less refined it for everyone now to see.
It's a dystopia, it's a utopia. It represents realism, but excels at surrealism; it's symbolist in nature and modernist in soul, in its own mind it is absurd and in its own heart, it's fairly slipstream and thus is postmodern to the core, it's written in prosimetrum/versiprose concurrently and is done in three languages, just as my art in general is, - in English, Russian and Ukrainian. its number of characters probably far exceeds the usual norm of the characters' number in your day-to-day novels, but what do I care, honestly?
this retells my life in the most precise way, yet so delusively far from the truth does it seem in the end... but nothing is really false here in this book. it may be the end of it all, or may begin something completely new, too.

When Chancellor Bay decides to perform a suspiciously familiar parodic musical number aimed at the wealthy merchant Sarpedon, he triggers a cross-cultural riot. This time, the song contains many more anachronisms, including the use of modern-day languages (Arabic, Turkish, and Greek), and a verse of the song being sung by the adult characters (mainly males) from around the world in different languages. Bay continues singing the song without realising that the "hated man" he was singing about, Sarpedon, was directly behind him, furious. In response, he has had it with Bay's mockery, which he believes is meant to further insult him.

Because they concerned one grandiose family, I tried to include some songs - everybodywantstoruletheworld especially - as the returning motif, repeating them in each fanmix, the titular one as the opening and closure, just in a different cover versions. I hope this approach, highlighting the characters' similarities and echoes in their stories, is interesting not only for me. I treat fanmixes as character studies, fan essays etc., so I'm always open to discussion about the songs, their order and other choices I made, or about other fitting songs I missed!
