Except different, because Kyoko is a cat (albeit one smarter than most people) and I haven't watched Danganronpa: Kirigiri. I'm just guessing at the events that play out in it. The only thing I really know is that Yui dies.
TL;DR:
You didn't plan to get a cat. But it was raining, and wet, and cold, and the poor kitty had nowhere to go! What were you supposed to do, leave it out there to die!? You're not a MONSTER!Your cat might be actually smarter than you are, but that only enhances how good of a sweet little kitty she is.
