At the insistence that improving his social skills will be his ticket out of here, the two begin to spend time together, and they both grow to realise that they feel curiously at home in each other's presence.
A prequel to my other fic ('I'm Coming Back For You, My Friend') with the same characters, exploring the early days of their friendship and growing infatuation.
