Summary
The moment Francis figures out a way to leave, he makes two promises to himself. First is that he won't let himself fall for Agapi, even if he's tall and muscular and everything that appeals to his very suddenly, gay brain.
Second is that no matter what happens, he's getting home. It doesn't matter if he's fallen irrevocably in love with this handsome stranger, or even if Agapi's the reason he's still even alive at this point. He has to put his foot down.
Those two promises, Francis decides, are completely impossible. Francis takes one look at Agapi's irritatingly gorgeous face and curses god for having the time and patience to sculpt that stupid handsome face.
When the elders decide however, that Francis can't get home until the next blue moon, he has half the mind to drown himself in the river.One day with stupid hot and handsome Agapi is bad enough. Actually living with him? For at least a few months? Francis might actually combust on the spot. So he runs, runs away into the forest to panic over his homosexuality in peace all for him to be found by stupid, charming and caring Agapi. Francis hates his life.
