Summary
When Thorin lays his head on her belly, his hand curled around her hip, she wonders if he thinks of children, too.
----
Written for a hobbit kink meme prompt: "Thorin x Bilbo - Distraction (mpreg or fem. Bilbo)
Bilbo does not want kids (at least, that's what he keeps telling hismelf). He's perfectly happy being a bachelor. So why does he find himself kissing Thorin and distracting him with "I want to bear your child."
Thorin/fem!Bilbo, with all these family feels, and thoughts on motherhood, and also a very small bit of redwings porn. Oh, and a relationship that falls apart because of politics and inheritance. It’s like all my favorite things combined! How not surprising.

Summary
And then she is back in her hobbit hole, her beautiful Bag End with its warm wood and cool stone and sweet-smelling air. Gandalf follows her directions for days, pushing this desk into that corner, and turning that chair in this direction. She has him move the furniture again and again as she searches for the Bag End she had left over a year ago, and it takes nearly a week before she realizes it.
“It seems smaller,” she tells Gandalf, when she realizes she has been counting the footsteps it takes to move from the back door to the front. “It had been large before—homey, but large. Now it seems very small.”

The sequel to The Art of Inheriting Crockery; in which Briony returns to the Shire, has a baby, and tries to rebuild her home. Basically, it's all fem!Bilbo, Gandalf, hobbit ladies, and also pregnancy. It’s also chockfull of family feels, and home feels, and all those pesky family politics so prevalent in the Shire. And cousins. So many cousins.Series

Summary
“Mistress Baggins,” Thorin says. Briony had forgotten the sound of his voice, but when he speaks, it is familiar—achingly familiar, the way her mother and father’s voices would be familiar, the way her cousins’ voices are familiar after months apart. She aches with it, for it, and she wonders how she had managed to forget his tone and his cadence, the way he bites off his hard consonants.
“Thorin,” she says in reply. “This is quite unexpected.”
Then, stupidly, as she’s opening her pretty green door further, motioning for him to come in out of the spring damp, she says, “I dreamt of you last week.”
---
An alternate universe of an alternate universe, for @ravencromwell who asked for a meme fic "wherein Thorin was alive, and he had to resolve all these things around his feelings for Briony/his child and his role as king; the power vested in him vs. his wishes as a man, which's like so much my fucking jam."
That's my jam, too. So there's a bunch of feels, and Thorin and Briony trying to feel things out slowly, tentatively, with little to no resolution. To be honest, I have no idea how far this will go, but hey! At least they're together!
