Both Dvalin and Barbatos got bits of Durin’s corruption after battling him in them. This time Knights was forced to kill Dvalin cause Venti was still asleep. He wakes to strengthened corruption with little to no idea what to do. Angst or Hurt/Comfort ensues.
Oh and there's Zhongli and Venti because I want more of their interaction. Can be taken both platonically or romantically, depends. This is also my first Genshin fic so constructive critisism (why do autocorrect not work here idk spelling ahhhh) hugely appreciated.

Yeah pretty angstyZhongli’s ear was ringing, perhaps a result of the explosion that had just occurred. Why was keeping his eyes open so hard? And why was someone crying (Not that he could hear their cries anyways)?
His only regret was that he couldn’t hear a certain someone sing.
