    As a Katie Gardner simp (also a Kayla Knowles simp too), I approve of this. Also love this because I have a demigod original character child of Ares that definitely would relate to Katie in this one about being a monster with a heart (except he goes about it in his own way of course).

      and I wrote this bc i saw the when is a monster not a monster quote and ran away with it and projected onto Katie lol

      And I might write something for Kayla soon too! We'll see lol I've been meaning to write Reyna and drew for forever but idk how it'll work out!

        And yeah, Kayla is probably the most unlikely person you’ll ever see as the main heroine in a series-spanning Percy Jackson fanfic and for that reason, I decided why not. I didn’t actually go into this with the plan of creating arguably the scariest demigod in the entire fanbase since the show came out, but I’m not complaining with the results.
