Ludvic is truly the MVP, he's experiencing a dozen crisis at the same time. He's so protective of Cliopher 😭 I love that Pali was able to beat him so easily, because he is Ludvic but she is The Pali Avramapul.
Speaking of Pali, the confrontation and her hurting Kip was my favourite part of the chapter. Her reaction makes so much sense when you remember that Fitzroy was taken just barely after they'd met again, and she is very much still in full "I'm gonna rescue my friend from his jailors" mode. So so so so crunchy
Kip: "Do you think the bird could be our lord?" Ludvic: *looks at the camera like he's in the office*
This is RIVETING, I read it at 4am during a bout of insomnia and then dreamed about reading chapter 3 when I finally went back to sleep 😂😂 i can't remember what happened in it but I know your version will be a thousand times better
