  1. Im thinking of that time I watched a jumping spider documentary on color vision.

    Jumping spiders can see completely around them. All the time The thing is its mostly black and white. But they have two eyes (the ones that make them cute) that can see in color.

    Thats why when they see something move they often turn to track the movement. Because they can only see perfectly in front of them.

    A visual way to put this is holding your arm out with your thumb up. Your thumb is what they see everything else is black and white.

    Also there's hundreds of types of jumping spiders and they all see in different color ranges. Some evolve randomly in the chain (so like their close relatives would not see red but they do)

    Also red is crazy.

    Like a certain type of male jumping spider has red on it just because lady spiders are killers and will eat them. Because the red kinda jumps out at them? It makes the lady spider confused so they are more cautious of the males and dont attack.
